Today folks, I am going to bash some atheists!

Please note, for the really dumb, I said "SOME" atheists. These are the kooks at the Ayn Rand Foundation (www.aynrand.org)

Ayn Rand, for those who slept through junk-philosophy class, was a pseudophilosophising narcissistic bitch-whore from the former USSR who settled down in America and started her Ayn Rand Cult (Of course Randies would skin you with a blunt knife if you so much as suggested they exhibited herd mentality). She promoted this idea of positive objectivism, which among other things claimed that:

A> All things can be understood by reason (fair enough, true for most things)
B> All humans can and should interact freely in a completely open, free market system (idealistic but stupid. There's no getting around the fact that people are stupid, horny and selfish)
C> Man is the measure of all things. The world is seen to exist so man can exploit it fully (conservation and discipline be damned)

Now this rant is not about her, suffice it to say that she was one hell of a hypocrite.

Anyway, back to this bunch. The ARI was formed by Rand and still attracts a reasonable following today (though most people gave up on Rand once they reached some level of intellectual maturity). It's head, Leonid Peikoff is currently "Rand's intellectual heir" (the earlier choice, Nathaniel Branden was branded a heretic after he admitted to having an affair with another woman other than Rand).

These guys, in their website come up with occasional tripe they dare call "articles".

Now these guys are supposedly the champions of reason. You would expect to see their articles filled with rational debate, evidence for their claims, researched rebuttals to claims by naysayers and suchlike, right? Right?

Here's a sample of their "research" (Remember, these are guys with PhDs):

(Now I am a reasonable man. I would presume that if Americans went into a land they had no business being in, WITH big guns and Humvees, they are bound to get shot at. So I would deduce reasonably, that in this case, killing Americans is not a crime, it's merely an act of self defence. Rational, people, Rational.
So why are these people being abused in prisons? Regarding the second point, true, human rights are unheard of in the middle east, but guess who is supporting those governments? The same Americans who go in and blow the shit out of them. Saudi Arabia is a HUGE friend of America. Their TGIF event is a beheading.

The reason the "muslims are silent" is because if they open their mouths they would lose their tongues! They have enough shit on their plate without having stupid white guys come in with machine guns blowing their kids' heads off! Incidentally where did they get the info about the boiling vats of acid and drills being used on a DAILY basis? Evidence?)

Or consider "Muslim opinion" over the U,S, handling of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, in which the United States is accused of not being "hard enough" on Israel--a free nation with laws that protect all citizens, Jew and Arab alike--for Israel's supposed mistreatment of Palestinians. Yet "Muslim opinion" reveres the Palestinian Authority, a brutal dictatorship that deprives Palestinians of every basic freedom, keeps them in unspeakable poverty, and routinely tortures and executes peaceful dissenters.

Two Palestinian teenagers have been killed by Israeli occupation army fire in the northern West Bank city of Nablus.

The victims were named as Amir Banat and Muntassir Hadadi, both aged 15.

Palestinian security and medical sources said the deaths occurred shortly after dark on Saturday after clashes between stone throwers and Israeli soldiers in the dilapidated old sector of Qasaba.

At approximately 02:30 local time, two settlers from "Kharsina" settlement east of Hebron set fire to four Palestinian civilian cars in Al-Baq'a neighborhood near the settlement.

4 July 2001 - 14-year-old Palestinian child pronounced dead after Israel shot him with live ammunition on 8 December 2000. The Palestinian Center for Human Rights reported that In the afternoon, a 14-year-old child, Murad Jamil 'Abdullah El-Masri, from Khan Yunis, was pronounced dead in Amman Surgical Hospital in Jordan.

OR this:
4 July 2001 - Israel shells Palestinian homes in Gaza for third consecutive day
The Palestinian Center for Human Rights reported that:

For the third consecutive day, at approximately 23:00 local time, Israeli occupation forces, positioned at the border with Egypt in Rafah, shelled Palestinian houses opposite Salah El-Din Gate on the border. etc. etc I just cut paste the first four stories in google.

Yeah, equal protection under law for all citizens, Jews and Arab alike)

Does anyone remember that gutwrenching scene of a poor Palestinian father trying in vain to protect his 10 year old son from machine gun fire? Equal protection my ass.

The Palestinians in ISrael are treated like second class citizens. They live in absolute squalor, their land has been snatched from them without their approval, their homes shelled, their livelihoods destroyed and their children shot at. The neighbouring Arab states don't want them, and no one apart from Jordan is willing to give them citizenship. So who will they attack? Reason, people. Reason.

All neutral bodies want the withdrawal, but these kooks would have none of it. To them it would "glorify the terrorists". I never understood this.
