Folks,
This domain name, www.evilatheist.com is up for renewal. Now I don't mind renewing it for another year but I should know if it is worth it.
As of today, for the past one year I have got exactly 7219 unique hits. That works out to about 20 a day. My numbers haven't changed much over time and I can see that no new person is reading this shit.
Now by most standards that is rather pathetic coverage as far as quantity is concerned, and a quick scan through the shithoses who give me statistics tell me that a large portion of my hits come from guys who just wander in by accident.
If I do not take down my site I need to be able to attract a wider audience. Having said that, I refuse to do the following.
1> Write about what the fuck I do everyday. If you want to know, call me and ask.
2> Add links to my site and beg/plead with some ignorant hayseeds out there to link my page to their putrid efforts in order to attract completely apathetic, ignorant fuckblintzes with attention spans of deceased livestock.
3> Add frivolities like tagboards and meaningless wallpaper and grey on white text. If you don't like vanilla, too bad.
4> Post meaningless shit that would end up with me having to nominate myself for a Shitblog Award.
So those who read this regularly, get the hamster in your brain wheels to start running. Who knows? One of you might actually come up with an original thought that might move you that one step closer to being welcomed into the human race.
Give me ideas on topics I could rant about. My site is at crossroads and I am ranting pretty much about everything from teenage bloggers to the size of LKY's tiny, shrivelled penis. Should I diversify into new topics or restrict my focus? Let me know.
When I say I want to attract more readers, I mean readers of the quality of those who read me regularly, not the "so dumb I get my dick caught in my zipper three times out of four tries" reader. Biting commentary? Unbiased reporting? Sex with braindead gerbils? What does it take? Let me know.
Of course you can just ask me to shut the whole thing and I'll save a bit of money.

There's quite a number political panderers such as yourself. I've seen a bit. But I come back to just two. One to see what you say, and the other to see his sheer idiocy generate traffic like Father Lee's comments on politics generates bile.
Both of you have something to say on the situation. You do it with proper grammar and he doesn't. And you have one (now two) comment, as compared to his five hundred odd. Not talking about the comments, but the traffic.
Perhaps this, is proving that Singaporeans prefer idiocy. And perhaps its better to save some money and use the free service on Blogspot.

but before i do that, i have a few suggestions myself.
How about the fact that India is the only country with a goverment that can boast a real democracy, and yet the country is in turmoil(they actually have 3 nigerias). So is democracy really a good thing?
We are all dependant on a natural resource which is depleting. 10 yrs ago we had 50 more. 10 yrs later, we have 20 more. We have alternative resources, but thanks to capitalism, we have nicer cars.
or that governments choose to let capitalists have their way, but say no to cloning as it poses ethical issues. I know what you're thinking, but i am talking about cloning food. The world is wrought with poverty i remind you.
Or why the 5 richest people in the world and their collated assets can put the WHOLE world out of poverty.
Or the fact that 15% of the national budget goes to defence like you pointed out. But before an (insert E word here), we suddenly we get pretty packages for the PROGRESS of (y)our nation.

I'm beginning to think, no in fact i've known for a long time now (and you know i've known for a long time)that most who read your blog are morons, save for beast and his gang (which includes Liu the slave).
Most are elitist punks or wannabe elitist punks who relish having a blog in an effort to convey to the world, their insipid and warped opinions on everything. Every blogger seems to think himself as Freud or Kant in this day and age. God help us all.

Yea and the UK isn't a real democratic state. France? They are all sham democracies, i guess. India is the world's largest democratic state. Being the largest, in size and population (which is now rivalling China's), it's natural that the country will have its fair share of ups and downs. The middle income group of India is actually burgeoning. Poverty level in urban areas are coming down (try going to bombay, even though they are many homeless people; the number of them living on the streets is lower than let's say 6 years ago when i was there). And thanks to the freedom of the speech, press and expression, corruption in is facing some stiff opposition when it was once swallowed as a matter of fact thing in the day-today lives of indians.

Allow me to convince you first that (1) I am not a high priced and stupid local woman as Liu The Slave so dismissively declared and (2) the capitalist market-place functions and feeds on frivolous consumption.
(2) This means you don't have to care if no one cares like the way you do. Voluminous (net) traffic is one indicator of popularity, not potency of wit and thought. Yes, Britney Spears does an adequate job of facilitating some people's wanking sessions, but nobody mistakes her silicon implants for potent sex appeal. If you want popularity, I suggest the just one strategy that has never failed the capitalist market:
a) sex
OR if you're an ugly girl:
b) appear to sell sex (Ho Yeow Sun, SPG)
That being said, I agree with the consensus here that morons proliferate the world, and that makes finding non-idiots-with-a-semblance-of-intelligence a tad cumbersome and difficult. I extinguished my own blog (on a stroke of whimsical frustration) for this reason. But our dismissive rants and cynicism are merely a representation of our disappointment in general. And that's not new.
Vivien, I didn't ask for popularity. All I am saying is, enough people should read this shit to justify me buying the domain name for another year. I mean, if no one is reading this stuff, I won't buy the name. :)
