Well, well, Our Father has a tendency to contradicts himself too. Once at a conference he justified the high salaries afforded to ministers by claiming that some of our local politicians were doctors before they joined the PAP and they were earning at least S$4m per year for their previous jobs. In fact, the pay they're now getting is considerably less than what they would've earned if they had just remained as doctors.

Afterwards, during a Q&A session, a doctor in the audience asked The Father what's the secret to earning big bucks. And The Father replied, "If you want to be rich, don't be a doctor. Be a businessman."

Talk about coherence and consistency, man. First he claimed that doctors are filthy rich people. And then he told a doctor that he should change jobs if he wants to be rich. There are times I truly wonder if he is getting senile.

If they are trying to run Singapore like a corpora...

If they are trying to run Singapore like a corporation, can we just buy them out, pay them a severance from our reserve so that they can shut up forever?

Might cost a bit but from the way they are eating into the cost, might probably be worth it in the long run.

Other than ad hominems, derailing from questions, and looking lost and starry-eyed, the only good thing about him is that his son needs him to stay in power.

At his age, he should have just rode off into the sunset like Mahatir, instead of clowning around and making PAP look bad.

These days,I hardly listen to him anymore. He is a broken record that is beyond repair. The sooner he dies the better.
